I'm Selling 8-Pieces of Pope Gosser
"Florence"
Pattern #3025 American Made China.  The pieces are Circa 1930's
All of these pieces have the earlier mark from the 1930's which is shown above in a photo 12.
Note:  Pope Gosser's "Florence" Pattern" was a popular and long running pattern - 1930's into the late 1940's.  You will find at least two different bottom marks.  Most folks just mix the pieces to form their sets, but if you're fussy about mixing color and size, here are the differences:
The later 1940's pieces
(which aren't contained in this set)
have A WREATH mark with the words Pope Gosser China, Made In U.S.A. inside the wreath followed by a two digit number and the pattern name "FLORENCE" which are just below the wreath were fired at higher temperatures so they usually don't have crazing, are heavier, thicker, a little lighter in color and the plates are about 1/8" larger in diameter.
Description:
The base china is a cream color, the scalloped edge has bright gold trim and the FLORENCE pattern is made-up of light and dark pink flowers with green leaves that run in an over-lapping S-shape around the border (see my close-up photo of the pattern).
