Antique Boy's Pants w Original Box, Tag

Great find!
Circa 1900, these boys’ pants were in their original box.
One pair was made from brown and white check fabric; the other were sewn from teal, brown, black and white plaid.
A paper label indicates these were made by Marx & Haas of St. Louis and meant to be a child’s first pants.
Each the same size, measured flat about 9 in. across the waist, 10 in. waist to leg hem, 3 ¼ in. at inseam.
Clean and never worn; box top has light water stain along left edge, has darkened and has small tears at corners and lower edge.
