Rotovac CFX Vacuum / Extractor - Needs Repair

Description

Up for sale, a Rotovac CFX extractor in need of repair.  This unit is in fair physical condition showing typical wear.  When plugged in, one vacuum pump sounds normal, the other is making a high pitched whine and has an electrical odor (smells like bad brushes on a motor).  It will sound normal briefly and then make some racket, my best guess is that it is reaching the end of its life.  I'd guess the motor will require replacement before this machine can be considered fully reliable.  The airflow seems fairly normal with both vacuum selections.  I have not tried to operate the unit with liquid and do not have any clue as to the status of the water plumbing/pump/etc....
I tried to flip the switch for the purge pump (the switch is damaged as the picture will indicate), when flipped I do not hear anything.  I did not fill this unit with water but someone familiar with these machines can likely guess if this is a problem or not.  While the rocker switch cover is damaged, it does seem to click in both positions so I would presume it is functioning okay as a switch.
There appear to be parts available for this unit so it shouldn't be tricky to repair.  If desperate, you may be able to use it as it is provided you use the functioning vacuum motor.  Again, I have no clue regarding the liquid pump or other functions.
If you are in the business, perhaps you have a donor machine and can get this going without much expense.
