Whole house filters are an excellent way of removing a wide variety of contaminants from your entire home. It installs at the incoming water supply ensuring pristine water from every tap. It doesn’t require electricity, backwashing, salt & produces zero waste water. whole house systems are ideal for homes, which don’t require water softeners but still want to protect themselves from the contaminants of city & well water supplies.
Filtration Process:
Filter Cartridge Replacement
Turn off water supply. Press res pressure-relief button (if present).
Unscrew housing. Removal large o-ring, wipes clean, and set aside.
Discard used filter cartridge. Wash housing with dish soap warm water using a nonabrasive sponge or cloth. Rinse thoroughly.
Lubricate o-ring with clean silicone grease. Insert o-ring in groove.
Insert new filter cartridge.
Screw housing onto the cap and hand-tighten. Do not over-tighten. Make sure cap standpipe slip into cartridge.
Note:
A carbon cartridge may contain carbon fines (very fine black powder). After installation, flush cartridge for 10 minutes, wait an hour, then flush again for 10 minutes before using the water. It is recommended that you run the tap at least 20 seconds prior to using for water for drinking or cooking purposes.
